Summary
One of a collection of twenty two blue and white Dutch delftware tiles, hand painted underglaze blue decoration on white ground. Various rural landscapes contained in roundel, single foliate spray to each corner. cf. those in Gun Room. , cf.SPE.M.112.B. This tile shows a picture of two animals, possibly deer, on a packhorse bridge with a rider behind. two large trees can be seen in the centre of the picture and a house to the right. There are also two sailing boats in the distance.
