Summary
One of a collection of twenty two white Dutch delftware tiles, hand painted underglaze blue decoration on white ground. Various rural landscapes contained in roundel, single foliate spray to each corner. cf. those in Library, cf.SPE.M.112.A. This picture shows two birds on water before a building and a 2-arch aqueduct that connects two buildings. There are figures on the aqueduct, aboard a boat before a house and on some steps in front of the house. The latter appear to be either arriving at the boat or to have alighted from the boat.
