Summary
One of a set of twenty-eight blue-painted tiles in the chimney breast cheeks, tin-glazed earthenware, square, quartered design of flowers and trailing foliage, 'Longden' pattern, design attributed to the architect Philip Webb (1831-1915), c. 1870, painted on Dutch tiles made by Ravesteijn, Utrecht, for Morris & Company, c. 1870-90.
