Summary
An engraving of Speke Hall by L. Aspland, 1839, drawn by G and C Pyne. Picture shows a corner of the house and figures in the foreground, including a man with a scythe, a gentleman on horseback accompanied by a second horse and second gentleman and three dogs, and two women, one at the top of a flight of steps and one at the bottom. Underneath the title is printed 'To Richard Watts Esq. This plate is respectfully inscribed by the publishers'.
