Summary

Box of sycamore, shaped like a beach hut, with sloping roof and turned legs fixed to a round edged base, the underside covered with green textured paper. The two sides of the roof are transfer printed with views of Dovercourt (Essex). The roof lid has a hinged back and decorative snap fastening at the front. Mauchline transfer ware second half of 19th century
