Summary
A glass fronted display case containing a pair of mounted wrynecks, mounted in a naturalistic setting on bark with twigs, ivy and mosses. Labelled on back 'Corbetts Museum of Natural History, 61, Piccadilly, London.', Corbett being London taxidermist, who did work for minor Royalty in the early 19th century.
Provenance
Purchased by the National Trust from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and the Powis Estate Trustees in June 2010.
