A bow-fronted glass display case containing a stuffed perch mounted in a naturalistic setting against a background of weeds, reeds and gravel. A label on the back of the case reads: 'W.C. Darbey, Naturalist 12, Banbury Road, Oxford.'.
Provenance
Brought to Powis Castle from Walcot Hall in 1930. Purchased by the National Trust from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and the Powis Estate Trustees in June 2010.
