Summary
A black and gilt chinoiserie display table, Chinese export, late 19th century. With a glazed top and shaped apron, raised on cabriole legs and claw and ball feet, decorated overall with floral designs.
Provenance
Recorded in 1944 Inventory as ‘A 3ft lac show table glazed top lined blue velvet cabriole supports claw and ball feet' in Tapestry Drawing Room (Blue Drawing Room). Purchased by the National Trust from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and the Powis Estate Trustees in June 2010.
