Summary
One of twelve billiard cues, longer than the rest. The butt of a darker wood seperated from the shaft with a narrow collar of black coloured wood. The cue tip of laminated leather. The makers marks impressed stamp on the butt "BURROUGHS & WATTS, LONDON".
Provenance
Brought to Powis Castle from Walcot Hall in 1930. Purchased by the National Trust from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and the Powis Estate Trustees in June 2010.
