A pair of Victorian stoneware water filters with applied white decoration of vines (mimicking Wedgwood jasper ware?). Central plaque 'Lipscombe and Co., Patentees, 44 Oxford Street, London', with coat of arms above. Taps missing. Traces of original paper label on the back of C.334.1.

Purchased by the National Trust from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and the Powis Estate Trustees in June 2010.
