Summary
Livery breeches - Pair of breeches to be worn by the Coachman, c1898. Scarlet wool velvet 'plush' with scarlett worsted twill weave piping. Construction similar to Footman's breeches - Raised back waist with buttons for braces, fall front opening, 2 pockets, buckles and 3 buttons bearing Clive coat of arms at the knee. Silver gilt braid trimming at the knee.
