Summary
A mahogany and upholstered open armchair or library armchair, English, mid 19th century. Mid 18th century style, with down swept arm supports and square section legs tied by stretchers, brass and ceramic castors.
Provenance
Purchased by the National Trust with funding from The National Heritage Memorial Fund from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in August 1999.
