Summary
A walnut panelled tester bedstead, European, mid 19th century incorporating some earlier elements. The panelled canopy held by turned foot posts and a panelled foot board. The head board panelled and flanked by fruit and scroll carved pilasters and turned posts.

Purchased by the National Trust with funding from The National Heritage Memorial Fund from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in August 1999.
