Summary
A brass back rail and associated damask curtains from a mahogany drinking table or 'hunt table', by Burrey & White, Shrewsby, circa 1810. The table stenciled 'Burrey and White, Shrewsbury' the castors stamped 'Cope's Patent Strong'. The curtains a later replacement.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
