Carved and turned ivory cup, decorated with demons and mythical figures in scrolling foliage; on a short stem with carved base. Used only for ornamental purposes. Style of carving similar to 1180684.1-4. Burma, 19th century.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
