Summary
Bronze sculprture, The Hindu God Vithaleshvara or Vithoba, Indian School, circa 1800. One of eleven miniature images of the Hindu deities; a small bronze figure of the god Vithaleshvara or Vithoba (Vishnu two armed), standing with his hands resting on his hips, the right in gift bestowing gesture and the left holding a conch.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
