Summary
One of a pair of scabbards to match swords (1180588.1,2). The scabbards covered with red velvet and with gilt copper mounts with floral repousse decoration and each with two ring hangers. West India (Kutch), 19th century.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
