Summary
A punch dagger (katar). The gilt copper hilt with scrolled double guard encrusted with foiled crystals in a stylised flower pattern; the arched forte with repousse floral apron. W.India (Kutch), 19th century.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
