Summary
Sauce bowl - A sauce dish with lid and three stands, dish and one stand with Powis crest, from a large dinner service. The whole service is part Copeland (supplied by T.Goode and Co) part Bishop & Stonier (Bisto), England (supplied by Mortlocks Ltd, Orchard St. London). All have a border of black, linear, greek key design on gilt ground. Sauce dish cracked.
Provenance
Purchased by the National Trust with funding from The National Heritage Memorial Fund from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in August 1999.
