Summary
A Soldier's Busby of the Brunswick Hussar Regiment No.17, Germany c.1900. The skull and crossbones was the traditional emblem of the Brunswick regiments. The scroll bears battle honours gained by the regiment when serving with the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars. A fur busby with red filled wool point to falling to the left side.
