Summary
A soldier's pelisse from the Hussar Regiment (Thuringen) No.12, Germany c.1910. The pelisse was a fur lined jacket worn over other uniform in winter or slung from one shoulder in the summer. This is a pale blue, lined, wool jacket with cream astrakhan style fur around the collar and cuffs and down the front. It has white cording, silver buttons and silver rosettes.
