Summary
A Belgian Officer's Busby or Bearskin Form the Guides. The Guides were the Corps d'Elite of the Belgian Cavalry and formed the personal escort for the sovereign. The hat is made mainly of fur with a red, fulled wool, crown and long point which falls to the left side. At the front their is a cockade of red and white feathers. A chin strap of metallic links backed with leather.
