Summary
A shako of a General Officer of the Hussars, worn at the Battle of Waterloo. Black enamelled leather, felt and lace, with gold braid round peak and three rows of looped gold braid round the crown, in front a rosette above a gold button holding a cock's feather plume. The chin strap with looped gold braid decoration and attached with lion head masks.
