Summary
A pelisse, part of a uniform of a General Officer's of the 7th Hussars (along with the trousers and busby). Blue wool with brown twill lining. Dark blue with elaborate decoration in gold braid, with five rows of gilt buttons on the chest, on the left the stars of the Orders of the Garter 1818, Knight of St. Patrick 1828, The Bath (Grand Cross) 1815, Hanover (Grand Cross) 1815, and St.George of Russia 1839. Collar and cuffs trimmed with fur.
