Summary
Table, one of a pair of unusual George III Neo-classical gilded console tables, c.1800, with mahogany tops (probably replacing original marble tops), the ornament of the frieze (either guilloche or paterae) is missing. Decorated with foliage and beading in relief and with X-shaped monopodia supports at the ends, and rams heads suspending laurel festoons, standing on paw feet.
