Print, engraving, Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift 'He screams as loud as...can make him, whereupon the huge creature at last espies him.' by Rex (Reginald) John Whistler (Eltham 1905 - Normandy 1944) . One of six engravings from a special limited edition of 'Gulliver's Travels' printed by Cresset Press 1930. Within a frame of rustic tools wreathed with vines the top formed by two crossed scythe blades supporting a pumpkin, a kneeling Brobdingngian cutting corn is alarmed by the sight of Gulliver. Engraving on paper, gilt frame, moulded with decorated filet.
