Millennium Tapestry. Lavenham Guildhall Millennium Wall Hanging 2000. Designed, spun-dyed and woven by Members of the Lavenham Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers. Natural wool with embroidered emblems in gold and silver silk over black silk dupion. Panel of clear nylon with gold thread. Panel of silk dyed blue. Panel of grey linen and horsehair. Panel of green cotton and recycled plastic. Panel of red Wensleydale unspun fleece and trilobal nylon, dyed with madder. Mounted on iron frame.
