Summary
A historic system comprising of a softwood linen tub with cast iron plate Cresent Iron Works Bradford Liverpool and London with TB star and cresent cast mark. Mangle mounted above. There is report to have been a filter bed of approx. 3m of fine sand which may have been in use for as long as 400 years, but is now on neighbouring land. Also there is reported to be a reservoir on the hill.
