Summary

A historic system comprising of a collection of early water slide gasoliers with ball and socket ceiling mounts, probably dating from the original gas installation of 1857. Three water slides with pulley mechanism, others fixed T pendants and three branch gasoliers, also wall lights. Gas and electricity was generated for lighting at the property. The coal gas lighting system was located at Home Farm, only some of the building structure remains.
