Sheet of designs for a glazed door with window ove detail and full-size mullion and panelling sections Pen and pencil, some colour wash, on cream paper (AWNP); Door in Passage near Entrance gate and window over/ to be made in pine stained and varnished/ [window] same mouldings as mullions of door/ [door]3/4 inch to a foot/tracery half real size/mullions real size... ?MB has inscription on verso; Glass Door, and indistinct diaper in pencil inscription. Joints to doors.
Provenance
Item purchased by the National Trust at Sotheby’s auction in December 2012, included in a lot with AWN Pugin documents that were originally part of the 99 year loan agreement, returned to Guy Myddelton and sold on his behalf by Christies in June 2004.
