Summary
Mangle. A 'Wallness Wringer' upright mangle mounted on a large wooden vat, by Thomas Bradford and Co. iron works, London and Manchester. The wringer with a cast iron frame of 2 end supports with an arched centre and a turn screw and coach spring at the top.
Provenance
Amongst chattels previously on loan to the National Trust from the Myddelton family. These chattels were purchased on behalf of the National Trust in the Christie's auction at Chirk on 21st June 2004.
