Summary
Gasolier. One of three early Victorian 3 light brass gasolier converted to electricity (2005-6). C1845 -1855 designed by AWN Pugin and manufactured by John Hardman and Co Birmingham. The cylindrical shafts with knopped intersections above the upturned branches applied with scrollwork and ivy leaves.
Provenance
Amongst chattels previously on loan to the National Trust from the Myddelton family. These chattels were purchased on behalf of the National Trust in the Christie's auction at Chirk on 21st June 2004.
