Summary
Andiron. An iron and brass andiron, with pierced brass fleur-de-lis finial, shield shaped brass coat-of-arms engraved with 3 wolves' heads, brass rosette and two smaller lobed ornaments, on moulded cast iron upright, the two curved front legs with pointed brackets, the rear leg plain. Made by Hardman's of Birmingham to a design by A.W.N.Pugin
