Summary
Firegrate. Cast iron firegrate with moulded geometric back with central shield of three wolves' heads flanked by scrolls with the words 'in veritate' and 'triumpho', the grate composed of three horizontal bars and seven vertical, the latter with alternating fleur-de-lis and plain finials, on two shaped front legs. Probably made by Hardman's of Birmingham to a design by Pugin.
