Summary
A chandelier, English, made in 1996-7 by Rupert Harris Conservation Ltd., in 17th century style, copper and brass, a replica of 1170897.1, a gasolier believed to have been supplied for the Long Gallery at Chirk Castle around 1840. The turned and knopped central stem fitted with twelve scroll-ended and scrolling branches with pendant leaf false gas taps at their lowest curves, each terminating in a dished drip-pan fitted with a tulip-shaped candle socket. Fitted for electricity.
