Summary
Chair. One of a pair of carved mahogany Gothic chair of c.1840 with cane seats and triptych backs of 3 pointed arches, the centre panel carved with coat of arms surmounted by a marquess's coronet, the side panels with a rose and portcullis (for Abergavenny). Foliate finials. 6 octagonal moulded legs.
