Summary
Photographic negative, A photographic negative image of a view of Venice along a canal with a gondola in the foreground, positioned across the canal. In the centre if the image on the proper left, is a large building with many mooring posts outside; the steps and a balustrade are on the far proper left. In the distance, on a bend of the canal is a large domed church. The positive image of this scene is in the Erddig collection.
