Summary
Photographic negative. A photographic negative image of a ruined street, possibly Pompeii or Herculaneum with large polygonal stones making the road, which has a high kerb. A man ( possibly Rowland Hughes, husband of Amy Scott, Louisa Yorke's sister) is sitting on the kerb; he is wearing white spats, dark trousers and jacket and a light hat and is holding a piece of paper in his hand. He also has a small bag slung across his body.
