Summary
Game token bag and tokens. A bag made of beige silk ribbon of 80mm selvage width containing tokens. The weave is pekin comprising a broad band of taffeta between four mm wide stripes of eight pint satin (decochement 3); the selvage edge is woven in double face tabby 1 lat. The bag is inscribed in black ink on one face: Ivory & China Rounds [underlined]/ Ivory & China Rounds. The bag is made up from a 33cm length of ribbon folded in alf and over sewn along the selvages with of-white 3-sply, 6 cord cotton thread. the top edge is left unfinished. The ribbon has lengthwise creases which probably result from a previous use.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
