Summary
Chair cover fragment. The chair cover fragment is made of a fabric with a cotton warp and a cotton weft of heavier composition and little twist. The fabric also has a twill weave and is printed in three shades of pink. The design shows diagonal flowers, ferns and palm-like leaves, with a 44cm. drop repeat. The lining is made of undyed cotton plain weave and also undyed cotton twill weave. Trimming consists of self fabric piping. The cover fragment is machine sewn.
