Summary
Curtain. One of five curtains and fragments of crimson silk warp, blue/grey; cotton weft, warp faced satin ground, unbalanced plain weave motifs. The repeat of Renaissance plant motifs is not complete. Lining as .2 of red cotton plain weave and wadding at the edges. With ruflette tape and hooks, wadding on three sides, gathering head band one end, hand and machine sewn.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
