Summary
Photograph. A photograph of a man and woman at the ruins of a temple. The man is wearing a dark suit, a broad brimmed hat and is carrying a dark overcoat. On his left are stone pillars with statues, some damaged, extending into the background where the woman stands. She is wearing a long black skirt and is carrying an umbrella. There is much ruined stonework in the distance and nearer to the visitors. In the background are town buildings and behind one large building is a church tower.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
