Summary
Embroidered panel. An embroidered panel for a tray of double linen canvas. The embroidery is of mercerized cotton dyed, black, red, white, two shades of mauve, gold, yellow, blue, pink, green & beige, in straight stitch. The design is Flame (Florentine or Bargello work) with initials 'LMY' and the date '1919' centre. The structure is stretched within a wooden frame with handles and glazing.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
