Summary
Tie back. One of two four strand twisted cords, two green wool & yellow silk on cotton core, one yellow silk on cotton core with over-twisted cord, one fine over-twisted cord (probably originally yellow silk). Looped either end, both have string attached.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
