Summary
Embroidered mat. An off-white cotton plain weave mat with embroidery of cream silk tampoured chain metal thread on core tampoured chain. The design is of flowers within a border and there is a cut fringe on four sides.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
