Summary
Embroidered mat. An embroidered white cotton plain weave mat. The embroidery is of silk-dyed peach, green lime green and yellow, in satin, stem and French knots. The design is a flower stem and the mat has openwork hems on four sides.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
