Bell pull of plain weave linen dyed crimson, with embroidery of climbing roses in cotton-a-broider dyed green, gold and two shades of pink in the stem and using stitches of straight, creton, buttonhole, bullion, backstitch and French knots. The initials LMY are embroidered and possibly the date, but this is not clear. It is trimmed with a brass gorget engraved with the royal coat of arms and GR. It is hand sewn, the structure of the bell pull being a handle at one end and a hook at the other.
