Summary
Silk pennant. Cream satin weave silk in double layers over paper, the design painted on side one, the words ' VICTOR JOSEPH' within scrolls and on side two, the initials 'V. J.' within a garland or wreath. The pennant is trimmed with three cm cream silk fringe, doubled, and is hand sewn with fringe on four sides.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
