Embroidered mat. Fabric: Off-white cotton plain weave. Embroidery: Cotton dyed black, yellow, blue and red. In satin, back, stem, French knots and buttonhole. Design: Geometric, flower heads within squares. Structure: Buttonholed on all sides. Curved and extended corners.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
