Summary
Embroidered bell pull. Fabric: Linen dyed crimson (originally). Plain weave. Embroidery: Cotton-a-broider, dyed two shades green (originally), blue, pink and cream. In buttonhole, straight, stem, chain and back-stitch. Design: Pre-drawn or transfer (?) flower and stem meander. Label: Embroidered, 'L.M.Yorke' and date '1909'. Lining: Pink cotton satin weave. Trimming: Hook one end, bar and chain one end. Structure: Hand sewn.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
